Gear & Spinner Bracelet

Inspired by Tim Holtz (we're buddies now), this bracelet is made with his hardware pieces.

Using bright silver jumps didn't set well so I altered them with a solution called: Black Patina. Using that solution does the job in less than a minute! The end result is what I wanted. I also put the closure in the solution to darkened it as well. Bracelet is 7.5 inches.

This is so cool Ronnie! Did you buy the patina around here? I've been wanting some, but didn't know where to get it. You know....I have a whole box of that hardware....think anyone would notice a few missing pieces??? ;-)

Michelle: I've met Tim several times, even getting into a conversation with him for a whole 10 minutes! Another time while I was watching Lisa Pavelka doing her polymer clay magic & Tim came over & stood right next to me for at least 20 minutes watching the Queen of clay perform her magic. I'll hook you up so time.... HA!

Dianne....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???

Robyn: Girlfriend, you can do this! Not only is it great to look at, but making it is SO much fun!

Shelly: haha....any pieces gone will NOW be missed! Any extra pieces left over could be made into something & given out as a door prize? The Black Patina is put out by Novacan. I'll bring you a small bottle of it. A little of this goes a VERY long way! Just remember after rinsing the pieces off that you soap them up & wash them again.
