Hello Punkin

Well, Fall is here & I see pumpkins are all around me! Thus this piece was created.
While in Electica for a club meeting, a class on scratch board was taught. Of course, I didn't leave the store without a little package of the scratch boards in all different sizes. Artistic Outpost images were used on this piece. Here's how this pendant was created.
  • Stamp images with StazOn black ink.
  • Using a Q-tip, color images with StazOn colors, yellow, orange & green, making sure you don't rub hard, DAB your colors on to keep from smearing the black.
  • Using a needle awl or carving tool, scratch your highlights into your scratch board.
  • Go back & fill in some areas if desired with inks (ie. the background here)
  • Add some black trim
  • Drill a small hole for a jump ring (I used a Dremel Drill Press)
  • Lightly spray with sealer
  • Add jump ring & ball chain

So excited to find your blog! I LOVED your straw jewelry last Saturday. And everything else. I tried googling straw jewelry, then drinking straw jewelry, then ironed drinking straw jewelry and suddenly your blog popped up!
I missed though what exactly the sruff was that we ironed between. Thanks for leading this make n take!

Yep Robyn, you DO own this, so you know now what's NOT in the

jaylando, (name, so glad you liked the demo. The sheets I ironed the straws inbetween are non-stick craft sheets sold at E. I cut mine into sizes I use.

Michelle, we may have to do this again at RCS because we have totally NEW members now! Awesome project!

Thanks Pat!!
