Oh, how I do wish this picture did this piece justice! I'll be shooting some more picture later today so you can see the true colors in this seaweed quartz necklace. The large dragonfly & 2 smaller dragonflies purchased from http://www.rockcandystudios.com/ really makes this piece complete. By wrapping the top wings around the large pendant stone (NOT an easy task) it appears as if the dragonfly is carrying the stone. Quick Grip from Beacon Adhesive made tacking the dragonfly to the stone a breeze. 12 inches of copper wire, roughed up by pliers, gave me a way to attach the pendant piece to the necklace. Using antique copper links gave yet another metallic look to this necklace. I finished one earring but would you BELIEVE the other little dragonfly flew the coop? Another order to RockCandy Studios is in order.....dang (they just have to twist my arm to buy from them.....NOT!) A lobster clasp added to complete.
