CHA Fashion Display

What a trip!

I must brag about our fashion display! After it was set up, it was a feast for the eyes!

Four designers worked together to pull this event off: Melony Bradley, Roxie Phillips, Candice Windham & I. The months of hard work paid off when the display was put together on the showroom floor. Our display theme was "Mom & Me". I feel we had the best location for the display.....right on the corner entrance to the other displays! The vendor located across from our display later told us that people seemed to spend the most time at our area finding item after item to look at.

Being a newbie CHA member, this event was overwhelming. I met so many extremely talented designers! It's amazing how minds think so differently. I got to meet so many 'stars' amongst the crafting industry.

  • Vanna White: I bought her book & had it signed for mom who is a master knitter/crocheter.

  • Katie Hacker: Nationally known jewelry designer; I took her "Treasure Bracelet" and it was awesome!

  • Jane Seymore: Acrylic canvas artist & actress.

  • Lisa Palveka: Polymer clay specialist......beautiful clay treasures!

  • Carol Duval: TV craft queen! So down to earth & very gracious.

  • Tim Holtz: What can I say? He's the master of distress! He's a very down to earth fella!

  • Terri O: A crafting diva in AZ. She enterviewed Tim.

  • Robyn & Suze Weinburg: Demonstrated Ranger products from time to time. Great artists!

  • Cathi & Steve: From Creative Juice on HGTV....we girls took a quick demo at their booth: even snapped a picture of us all there! They are just a nice in real life as on TV-- bubbly personalties.

  • Dee Gruenig & husband Walter: Posh Impressions artist! Very lively!

  • Suze Orman: Powerful speaker who cares about people. It was a delight listening to her words of wisdom.

There's so much more that I could go on forever! I'll post a product highlight later on today. So many new things coming on the market that it's mind-blowing!

Do you ever sleep? It was great seeing and talking with you on Saturday. I might just have to take a trip to Jackson and hang out one day.
